Siraha – Shaurya Cement Industries Limited has distributed educational materials to more than 400 students from different schools in Karjanha and Mirchaiya municipalities under its corporate social responsibility programme.
The initiative was organised to support local education and make learning easier for students. Beneficiaries included students from nine schools located in Prayagpur, Marewa, Rampur Birta, Manthai Kutti, Mahadeva, Materwa, Chhaghare and Malhaniya Khori.
Along with educational materials, the company provided water filters and water-storage jugs to selected schools according to their needs.
During the distribution programme, company representatives interacted with municipal leaders, ward chairpersons, teachers, school management representatives and students to understand local educational priorities.
Shaurya Cement said it considers education an important foundation for the long-term development of communities surrounding its operational area.
The company added that it would continue supporting education and other social sectors based on the needs and priorities of local communities.
