President holds farewell meeting with Pakistan’s Ambassador

Kathmandu: Pakistani Ambassador to Nepal Abrar H. Hashmi paid a courtesy call on President Ram Chandra Paudel at the Office of the President on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the President’s Secretariat, the meeting was also Ambassador Hashmi’s farewell call, as he is preparing to return after completing his diplomatic tenure in Nepal.

During the meeting, President Paudel congratulated Ambassador Hashmi for successfully completing his term and appreciated his role in strengthening diplomatic relations between Nepal and Pakistan.

President Paudel also expressed confidence that the friendly relations between Nepal and Pakistan would become even stronger in the coming days.

The meeting highlighted the longstanding diplomatic ties between the two countries and the importance of continued cooperation, friendship and mutual respect.
