Kathmandu – Prabhu Bank Limited has contributed Rs 21.11 million (Rs 2 crore 11 lakh 11 thousand 111) to support the rescue, relief and rehabilitation efforts for communities affected by the devastating Bhotekoshi flood in Rasuwa.
The massive flood caused severe human and property losses among settlements along the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli river areas, leaving many families in need of urgent assistance.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Prabhu Bank provided the financial support to help strengthen search, rescue and relief operations for disaster-affected communities.
During a programme held at the Ministry of Finance, Prabhu Bank Chief Executive Officer Suman Sharma handed over a cheque of Rs 21,111,111 to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle. The amount will be deposited into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
The event was attended by Prabhu Bank Chairman Kishor Jung Karki, Director Raju Paudel, and Director Dr. Ambika Sharma Lamichhane.
Expressing solidarity with the victims, Prabhu Bank extended heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the disaster and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting affected communities during this difficult period.
