RSP Revises Central Committee Election Results After Reviewing Vote Count
Kathmandu-The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has revised the list of Central Working Committee members elected through its First National General Convention after a review of the election results.
According to the party’s Central Election Commission, two previously announced winners have been replaced following a re-examination of the vote count, nomination documents, and related records.
Under the Indigenous cluster, Dhruva Kumar Thapa Magar has been declared elected, replacing Krishna Man Shrestha. Similarly, under the Provincial (Geographical) category for Gandaki Province, Pooja Bastola has been declared elected in place of Som Sharma.
The commission said the corrections were made after identifying errors in the published results during a review conducted in accordance with the General Convention Election Procedures 2083 (2026/27).

Following the convention, several candidates had raised concerns that they were not declared elected despite receiving higher vote totals, alleging errors in the cluster allocation process. After a detailed review, the Election Commission corrected the results and released the revised list of elected members.
