Season Media awarded 23 individuals and organizations the 4th National Social Welfare Award
Season Media Pvt. Ltd. awarded 23 individuals and organizations the 4th National Social Welfare Award 2023 on 13 Chaitra (26th March) at Rastriya Nachghar.
During the event, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Nepal Indira Rana Magar and Member of the House of Representatives Nepal Ramhari Khatiwada presented the awards.
Among those honored with the National Social Welfare Award were:
Acid attack survivor activist Ujjwal Bikram Thapa, Child Workers in Nepal (CWIN Nepal) Heart Specialist Dr. Kamal Sharma Lamsal, Founder of Rakshya Nepal Menuka Thapa, Volunteer of Nepal Red Cross Society Narayan Kumar Shrestha, Campaigner against human trafficking Indra Raj Bhattarai, Top Bahadur Malla, Conservation Engineer Ballu Gupta, Social Workers Prem Kumar Khatri, Saru Subedi, Rojina Bista, Dinesh Upreti, Founder of Himalayan Animal Trust Khageshwar Sharma Bhattarai, Dolpa-based Physician Dr. Akhand Upadhyay, Commercial Farmer Yadav Dhakal, Suryabinayak Nagar Hospital and Physician Dr. Manisha Karki
Similarly, others who were honored with the Special Social Welfare Award were:
Lalitpur Social Worker Sulochana Shakya, Lions International Second Century Ambassador Ananta Prasad Bhetuwal, Social worker and Entrepreneur Man Bahadur Roka, Education Journalist of National News Agency (RSS Nepal) Prakash Silwal, Kiwanis Club Nepal District Division-3 LT Governor (Elect) Pramila Lamichhane, Representatives from Thaha Investment Group, Makwanpur and Bagmati Cleaning Campaign, Kathmandu.
Pradeep Raj Onta, Chairman of Season Media, announced that the awards were presented to recognize individuals and organizations for their significant contributions to the social sector in their respective fields.
