Second South Asia Trade Fair 2026 from May 7 in Kathmandu
Kathmandu – The second edition of the “South Asia Trade Fair 2026” will be held from May 7 to May 11 (Baisakh 24–28) at the Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall.
Organized by Introduction Trade Shows Nepal Pvt. Ltd., the fair is expected to host over 150 exhibitors and attract around 100,000 domestic visitors along with nearly 5,000 international and business delegates.
The event will feature participation from several South Asian countries including Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Maldives, showcasing a wide range of products such as electric vehicles (EVs), garments, cosmetics, handicrafts, leather goods, footwear, furniture, agricultural and organic products, information technology, home appliances, food items, and construction materials.
Beyond exhibitions, the fair will host business-to-business (B2B) meetings, seminars, and cultural and entertainment programs, offering a platform for networking and collaboration among regional businesses. The event aims to promote trade, explore new market opportunities, and strengthen buyer-seller connections across South Asia.
The fair is being organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Bangladesh and the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), Bangladesh. Supporting organizations include the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bhaktapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Chamber of Industries Morang.
Organizers say the event will help boost regional trade relations, promote export-oriented goods, and create new opportunities for investment and business expansion in Nepal. Entry to the fair will be free for all visitors.
