Seventh edition of WOW festival returns to Kathmandu on November 23-24
The seventh edition of the Women of the World (WOW) Festival is being held in Kathmandu on November 23 and 24, 2024, at Nandi Keshwar Bagaincha (Narayanchaur), Naxal. Organized by the British Council in partnership with the WOW Foundation and hosted by Kathmandu Metropolitan City, the event will celebrate the achievements of women, girls, and non-binary people while addressing global gender equality challenges.
The festival will feature diverse activities, including talks, film screenings, live music, theatre performances, workshops, and mentoring sessions, alongside dedicated children’s programs. This free, inclusive event is open to all, aiming to foster engagement through stories, arts, and dialogues.
WOW Nepal 2024 promises two days of enriching conversations, creativity, and inspiration, with events held across Nandi Keshwar Bagaincha, Nandi Secondary School, and nearby venues. Activities will run daily from 8 AM to 8 PM, showcasing a collaborative effort of speakers, artists, volunteers, and supporters.
