Laxmi Sunrise Bank Launches “Digital December 2025” Campaign: MoU Signed to Promote AI Innovation
Kathmandu – Laxmi Sunrise Bank has launched its “Digital December 2025 – Empowering Enterprises” campaign with the aim of promoting technological and artificial intelligence (AI) innovations in Nepal. As part of this initiative, the bank signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Adyanta Advisory Pvt. Ltd. and the American Chamber of Commerce in Nepal (AmCham Nepal) to collaborate on advancing digital innovation.
Now in its seventh year, the campaign has evolved from a digital awareness initiative into a strategic platform for enterprise transformation. This edition aims to:
- Convert high-value, high-volume business transactions from cash and checks to secure digital channels.
- Integrate banking services into entrepreneurs’ operational systems via API and host-to-host connectivity.
- Establish digital platforms as the primary medium for business payments.
Under the MoU, the bank will expand its enterprise digitalization programs, connecting early-stage innovators, startups, and entrepreneurs with real banking infrastructure and domain expertise to prepare them for capital access.
The collaboration will also strengthen three programs supported by the U.S. Embassy in Nepal:
- Seeding and Scaling Innovations
- Code for Impact Hackathon
- U.S.–Nepal Commercial Diplomacy Discussion Series
These programs are expected to benefit approximately 400 young innovators, founders, and entrepreneurs across all seven provinces.
Adyanta Advisory Pvt. Ltd. will coordinate the design, guidance, and engagement for program implementation, while AmCham Nepal and Adyanta Fund Management will support network facilitation, visibility, and knowledge exchange through private sector networks.
The Digital December 2025 campaign will run for one month. Laxmi Sunrise Bank believes that this collaboration will significantly contribute to innovation, entrepreneurship, and the growth of Nepal’s digital economy.
