All Breed Championship Dog Show postponed; new schedule announced
Kathmandu — The Monge Presents 4th All Breed Championship Dog Show, organized by the Kennel Club of Nepal, has been postponed and rescheduled, according to an official notice issued by the organizers.
The event was postponed after the invited international judge, Ms. Retha Liza, was reported to have faced travel constraints due to sudden changes in travel arrangements linked to tensions between the United States and Iran. The organizers stated that the situation was beyond their control, making it difficult to conduct the show on the previously announced date.
The Kennel Club of Nepal stated that the decision was taken to ensure fair judging, maintain the quality of the show, and uphold international standards, and that the program has therefore been postponed by one month.
The championship dog show will now be held on:
Date: Falgun 30, 2082 (Saturday, March 14, 2026)
Venue: Satdobato Swimming Pool, Lalitpur
Organizers added that the revised schedule will provide additional preparation time for breeders, handlers, exhibitors, sponsors, and visitors, allowing the event to be conducted in a more organized and professional manner.
The Kennel Club of Nepal has expressed regret for any inconvenience caused and has requested continued cooperation from all stakeholders.
