Kathmandu – Hyundai Nepal has announced a new Battery Management System (BMS) software update for Creta EV customers, stating that the upgrade is designed to improve driving range under Nepali road and driving conditions.
The company has requested all Creta EV owners to visit authorised Hyundai service centres to receive the update. According to Hyundai Nepal, the optimised BMS calibration can increase driving range by approximately 15 to 25 kilometres, depending on driving behaviour and operating conditions.
Hyundai Nepal said the update is being implemented across its nationwide service network and is expected to support greater convenience and confidence for EV users, particularly for daily commuting and urban driving.
The company added that the initiative reflects its focus on ongoing product improvement and customer satisfaction. Hyundai’s aftersales support in Nepal includes a nationwide service network, 63+ Re-Lax Recharge stations, and Laxmi Motor Corporation’s four-wheeler assembly plant, which it says is the only facility of its kind currently operating in Nepal.
