NepalHRM launches with Direct Biometric-to-Payroll Integration
Kathmandu: A new human resource and payroll management platform, NepalHRM, has officially entered the Nepali market with a system designed to connect existing biometric attendance machines directly to payroll processing.
The company says businesses can use their current biometric devices without investing in new hardware. NepalHRM supports commonly used systems such as ZKTeco, Envis, Realtime, Hikvision, and other push-and-pull data devices, allowing attendance records to flow automatically into leave and salary calculations.
By linking attendance, leave, and payroll in one platform, the software aims to reduce manual data entry, eliminate dependence on spreadsheets, and minimize salary calculation errors at the end of each month.
NepalHRM co-founder Rajendra Regmi said many companies already use biometric machines but still transfer attendance records manually into Excel before preparing salaries. He said the new platform connects those machines directly to payroll, helping businesses save time and avoid additional equipment costs.
The platform also includes payroll features aligned with Nepali regulations, including the Employees Provident Fund, Citizen Investment Trust, Social Security Fund, and electronic tax deduction at source. According to the company, the system will automatically update when government contribution or tax rates change.
For security, employee information will be protected through encryption, role-based access, and daily backups. Staff members will also be able to use Android and iOS applications to record attendance, request leave, and view their payslips.
NepalHRM is available free of charge for businesses with up to 10 employees. Larger organizations can choose paid plans based on their operational needs. The company says most businesses can complete setup within two to four weeks, with technical support available in both Nepali and English.
The platform is designed specifically for Nepali workplaces and supports attendance, leave, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and legal compliance through a single HR management system.
