Nabil Bank tops advance bonus payouts among Nepal’s Commercial Banks
Kathmandu: Nabil Bank has emerged as the leading commercial bank in terms of advance employee bonuses this year, awarding its staff an advance bonus equivalent to three months’ salary. The payout is currently the highest announced in Nepal’s banking sector.
Several other banks have also rewarded their employees with advance bonuses ahead of the completion of the fiscal year’s financial statements. Sanima Bank, NMB Bank, and Siddhartha Bank have each provided bonuses equal to two months’ salary, while Kumari Bank and Global IME Bank have announced advance bonuses equivalent to one and a half months’ salary.
Likewise, employees of Machhapuchchhre Bank and Citizens Bank International have received advance bonuses worth one month’s salary, reflecting differences in bonus distribution among commercial banks this year.
Meanwhile, Laxmi Sunrise Bank has yet to announce its advance bonus. The bank is expected to finalize and distribute the bonus after Shrawan 15, once its financial statements are completed. The varying bonus payouts provide an early indication of how banks are recognizing employee contributions while awaiting the finalization of their annual financial results.
