Dollar, Euro and Pound Prices Rise
Kathmandu: According to the foreign exchange rates set by Nepal Rastra Bank for today, the value of the US dollar, euro, and pound sterling has increased. The prices of the Swiss franc, Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, and Singapore dollar have also risen today.
Today, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 152.16 and the selling rate is Rs 152.76. Yesterday, the buying rate was Rs 151.85 and the selling rate was Rs 152.45.
Similarly, the buying rate of one euro is Rs 177.92 and the selling rate is Rs 178.62, compared to yesterday’s rates of Rs 177.68 and Rs 178.38 respectively.
The buying rate of one pound sterling today is Rs 206.11 and the selling rate is Rs 206.92, while yesterday it stood at Rs 205.65 and Rs 206.46.
The value of the Swiss franc has also increased, with today’s buying rate set at Rs 194.22 and the selling rate at Rs 194.98, compared to Rs 193.70 and Rs 194.46 yesterday.
The Australian dollar has also risen, with today’s buying rate at Rs 109.15 and the selling rate at Rs 109.58, up from Rs 109.04 and Rs 109.47 yesterday.
The values of the Canadian dollar and Singapore dollar have also increased compared to the previous day.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as needed. The rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the latest exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
