NEFFA to celebrate 32nd cargo day 2026 under the theme “Efficient Logistics -Stronger Economy”

Kathmandu-The Nepal Freight Forwarders Association (NEFFA) has announced that it will celebrate the 32nd Cargo Day 2026 on July 29 (Shrawan 13) at The Soaltee Kathmandu under the theme “Efficient Logistics – Stronger Economy.”

The annual event aims to strengthen collaboration among government agencies, the private sector, and international stakeholders while promoting discussions on logistics, freight forwarding, trade facilitation, and supply chain development. According to NEFFA, the programme has become an important platform for policy dialogue and cooperation to support Nepal’s economic growth.

The event will feature discussions on modern logistics systems, infrastructure development, customs and trade facilitation, policy reforms, and international best practices. Senior officials from government ministries and departments, customs authorities, financial institutions, airlines, shipping lines, international organizations, development partners, and business leaders are expected to participate.

As part of the celebration, the NEFFA Annual Awards 2026 will honor individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to Nepal’s logistics sector. Awards will be presented to NEFFA members, government and non-government institutions, airlines that transported the highest cargo volume from Nepal in 2025 in both online and offline categories, and long-serving airline employees. Certificates of appreciation will also be presented to supporting organizations and partners.

The programme will also include a documentary presentation on logistics and trade facilitation, networking and fellowship sessions between public and private sector stakeholders, and experience-sharing among national and international participants.

NEFFA stated that Cargo Day is no longer just an annual celebration but has evolved into a strategic platform for strengthening public-private collaboration, improving Nepal’s logistics network, enhancing trade facilitation, and supporting the country’s long-term economic development.
