Purnima Shrestha shatters records, becomes the first woman to summit Everest three times in one season!
In a historic feat, Purnima Shrestha has conquered Mount Everest thrice this season, carving her name in mountaineering history. Partnering with 8K Expeditions, Shrestha defied the odds and achieved the unprecedented triple summit.
Shrestha’s incredible journey began on 12 May 2024, when she reached the summit for the first time alongside Phura Temba Sherpa. Unfazed by the challenge, she returned to the peak just one week later on 19 May 2024, with Pasang Sherpa by her side.
Capping off this remarkable expedition, Shrestha summited Everest for the third time at 5:50 AM on 25 May 2024, with Mr. Karma Gyaljen Sherpa providing support.
