International Yoga Day celebrated with enthusiasm in Nepal

The International Day of Yoga was excitedly celebrated in Kathmandu as hundreds of people gathered for diverse events dedicated to yoga.
In Narayanchaur, Kathmandu, many people started their day with yoga sessions to honor the day.
The government organized a special event at SOS Children’s Village in Bhaktapur. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal attended as the chief guest, along with other government officials, diplomats, and yoga practitioners.
Similarly, the Embassy of India in Nepal, in partnership with the Lumbini Development Trust, celebrated International Day of Yoga 2024 with a vibrant event in Lumbini.
Across Nepal, provincial and local levels also joined in celebrating International Yoga Day, recognizing its importance for health and culture.
Every year on June 21, International Yoga Day is celebrated worldwide to promote the practice of yoga. The United Nations declared this day on December 11, 2014.
