Bangladesh team won the friendly football match on National Photojournalism Day
To celebrate National Photojournalism Day 2081, a unique event was held by the National Sports Council (NSC). For the first time, an international friendly football match was held at the ANFA Complex in Lalitpur. Bangladesh’s Narayangunj Club played against Nepal’s National Forum of Photojournalists (NFPJ) group.
From Bangladesh, MD Zakir Hossain Shaheen scored 3 goals and Mayhedi Hasan Topu scored 2 goals, while from Nepal, Suman Limbu scored 2 goals and Diwakar Shen scored 1 goal. The National Forum of Photojournalist Nepal organized the friendly match to strengthen mutual relations through sports communication.
Pradeep Raj Onta, President of NFPJ, extended his best wishes to all photo enthusiasts on National Photojournalism Day.
The match started with Tanka Lal Ghising, Secretary of the National Sports Council handing over the ball to the players. Likewise, all the participating players were awarded medals along with a certificate of appreciation.
The program was successfully organized with the support of the National Sports Council, Gokarneshwor Municipality Ward No. 9 Arubari, Printing Express, Ma Nepali, Gold Star Shoes, ANFA Academy, Nepal Airhostess Academy, Himal Hospital, Swostishree Gurukul School, and Lalitpur Metropolitan City.
